A student of the University of Nigeria, Nsukka (UNN), identified as Becky, is currently at the centre of online controversy after claiming she has never been in a relationship a statement reportedly made to secure a date with popular media personality Asherkine. Beckys claim, which was made publicly during her interaction with Asherkine, has now been challenged by a man who claims to be her boyfriend of two years. In a twist that has sparked conversations across social media, the man released a chat purportedly between himself and Becky, where she allegedly told him she had travelled to see her mother a cover-up, he claims, for her outing with Asherkine. In the leaked chat, Becky is also seen allegedly saying she was “just joking” when she claimed she had no boyfriend.
