Stop raising false alarms – Police condemn incessant cases of jungle justice over alleged ‘snatching of manhood’ in Nasarawa (video)

The Nasarawa State Police Command has condemned jungle justice meted out to some individuals over alleged mysterious disappearance of genitals in various parts of the state.   Several videos making the rounds online show some of the suspects caught and beaten by irate mobs for allegedly snatching genitals.   Spokesperson of the command, DSP Ramhan Nansel,  in a statement on Wednesday, August 23, 2023, urged members of the public to stop raising false alarms.  According to the PPRO, medical examinations carried out on alleged victims of genital disappearance gave all of them a clean bill of health.  The Nasarawa State Police Command has observed with dismay the ugly trend where members of the public accused individuals of causing mysterious disappearance of genitals and resort to mob action/jungle justice, the statement read. .. “The Police Command wishes to State that, Medical Examination carried out on victims who reported cases of mysterious genital disappearance in Nasarawa Eggon, Obi, Lafia and Keffi Local Government Areas of Nasarawa, gave all the victims a clean bill of health “In view of the forgoing, the Police Command wishes to State unequivocally that, the cases of alleged mysterious genital disappearance is baseless, unfounded and without proof thus, anyone caught engaging in mob action/jungle justice or raising false alarm that leads to grievous assault occasioning harm on any member of the public shall be arrested and made to face the full wrath of the law.           View this post on Instagram           A post shared by Lindaikejiblog (@lindaikejiblogofficial) The post Stop raising false alarms – Police condemn incessant cases of jungle justice over alleged ‘snatching of manhood’ in Nasarawa (video) appeared first on Linda Ikeji Blog.
