Septuagenarian slumps, dies in Imo as athletes protest against Covid-19

A septuagenarian who slumped and died in Imo State while on her way to church leading to fear that she may have died due to COVID-19.

The woman said to be in her 70s slumped while wearing a face mask and was immediately rushed by policemen who later discovered that she was dead before any medical attention could be given to her.

Meanwhile, a face off ensued between policemen and some athletes observing their early morning exercise which contravenes the lockdown order in the state.

According to the athletes, the coronavirus pandemic is a scam which should not be used as an excuse to prevent them from engaging in their training.
