President Muhammadu Buhari observes Eid El-Kabir prayers with his family at the presidential residence today 31th July. Buhari was joined with both his immediate family members and aides to observe the prayers. See photos below;

Kemi Filani learnt that the Senior Special Assistant to the President on Media and Publicity, Malam Garba Shehu, in a report earlier stated the president would mark the celebration at home just as he marked the Eid El-Fitr at home over two months ago, in line with advisories from the Nigerian Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs, NSCIA and the Presidential Task Force, PTF on COVID-19.

The president also wishes all Muslims a safe and happy Eid, urging them to observe precautionary measures set by the presidential task force in order to stop the spread of corona-virus.
