Rivaldo tells Barcelona who to sign as Luis Suarez’s replacement

Former Barcelona player, Rivaldo has advised the club to make a move for Edison Cavani of Paris St Germain.

With Luiz Suarez currently down with injury and Barcelona needing a sharp forward to compliment Messi and Griezmann, Rivaldo believes the Uruguayan would fit in.

“Cavani would be a magnificent improvement for Barcelona’s attack now that Suarez is out for quite some time,” Rivaldo was quoted by Goal as saying.

“After all, Cavani is a top forward who has always got his goals in Europe’s top leagues. In his case it seems he’s really close to leaving PSG and it would be a very good opportunity.”

32-year old Cavani is currently drawing interest from Manchester United, Chelsea and Atletico Madrid. He’s only had few games for PSG since the arrival of Mauro Icardi.
