Jose Mourinho on Monday night proved that he was the king of tactics as his well drilled Manchester United side stifled Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool side to ensure both teams played out a 0-0 draw at Merseyside.
Jose Mourinho’s side played with a 4-3-3 formation, concentrating the midfield with Paul Pogba, Ander Herrera and Fellaini while playing Ashley Young and Marcus Rashford on the wings leaving Captain Wayne Rooney on the bench again.
The tactics worked for the away side as they ran out with a point against a team that has been blazing all season. Coutinho had a chance to end the game with a marvelous shot late on but goalkeeper David De Gea produced a breathtaking save.
