Kaduna state Prisons’ decongestion committee releases 8 inmates awaiting trial inmates
Kaduna state Prisons’ Decongestion Committee today released 8 inmates at Zaria Prison awaiting trial. The inmates released, mostly first times offenders, were being held for non capital offences. Hence the decision to give them a second chance.
The Decongestion committee, whose members are drawn from the Kaduna Ministry of Justice, Police and the Nigeria Prisons service, review the cases
