Hilarious tweets as Nigerians narrate their experience with the Yoruba culture of respect for seniors

Nigerians on Twitter are narrating personal experiences they’ve had with Yoruba people demanding respect. It began after a Twitter user said she called a woman “Mama Bayo” but was cautioned for not saying “Mama Unlce Bayo” since the woman’s son Bayo is her senior. Other Twitter users with similar experiences shared theirs. See their tweets below.
