Gunmen abduct traditional ruler in Plateau
Unknown gunmen have abducted another paramount ruler from his palace in Plateau State. The monarch, His Royal Highness Sunday Dajep, who is the district head of Chip community in Pankshin Local Government Area of the state, was kidnapped at about 11pm on Wednesday, April 5, when the gunmen forced their way into his palace in Chip community along Mangu-Shendam road. Confirming the abduction, the Police Public Relations Officer of the Plateau State Police Command, DSP Alfred Alabo, said the command is aware of the abduction and is on the trail of the gunmen.Men of the command have been on the trail of the gunmen.
