Getting to compete in Knorr Taste Quest 5 is tough, but these 12 made it…

After watching the Knorr Taste Quest 5 auditions and the hard skills test last weekend (imagine being asked to break coconuts, grate them and chop a basin of pepper), I concluded it’s not easy compete in the Knorr Taste Quest reality cooking show. But then, that is to be expected with what is at stake… N5million, a brand new Chevrolet car and getting crowned as Nigeria’s number 1 amateur chef. These are the 12 contestants that made it through. Who do you think will win? Francis, 24. Aspires to be a professional chef.  Valentine, 30 year old engineer/estate surveyor and actor from Abuja.  Gbolabo 25. Serves as a Minister of God and a performing gospel artiste.  Liana: born in Zimbabwe and became Nigerian a few years ago. Her hobbies are reading and baking.  Daphne 25. Daphne is an amateur chef whose passion for cooking led her to being on KTQ5.  Busuyi 29. Graduate of political science from University of Ibadan who is currently undergoing his Masters in the same University.  Folashade 33: A self-taught cook and a DIY guru.  Adamu: Social Media Specialist and Graphics/Web designer. Ifueko 37. Legal practitioner from Edo state. She loves cooking and singing. Shasi 34: Works with a Lagos State parastatal and is a lover of creativity- reading, cooking, Dog-Walking, Traveling. Dasola 24. Lawyer at the Lagos state Ministry of Justice.
