Force PRO, Olumuyiwa Adejobi, reacts to trending video of a police officer in Bayelsa asking for a dog licence from a resident

The spokesperson of the Nigeria Police Force PRO, Olumuyiwa Adejobi, has reacted to a trending video of a police officer in Bayelsa asking for a dog license from a resident. The dog owner was intercepted by a police officer who demanded the license of the dog he was carrying. The owner and other residents found it amusing that the officer was asking for a dog license. Reacting to the trending video, Adejobi said the officer was right to demand a dog license. He shared a screenshot of a Dog law in Nigeria enacted in 1943 that demands dog owners to have a dog license within six months of ownership and that the license must be attached to the dog at all times.   He responded to arguments as to why the police is still upholding a law that is pre-independence.Watch the video below     View this post on Instagram           A post shared by Lindaikejiblog (@lindaikejiblogofficial) The post Force PRO, Olumuyiwa Adejobi, reacts to trending video of a police officer in Bayelsa asking for a dog licence from a resident appeared first on Linda Ikeji Blog.
