Five-storey hotel under construction in Ibadan collapses
A five-storey hotel still under construction has collapsed in Ibadan, Oyo state’s capital. The building located at Awosika area of Ibadan, and within Ibadan North Local Government Area and close to the Oyo State Government secretariat, collapsed in the early hours of Thursday September 8. Rescue teams, consisting men from the State Fire Service, Federal Road Safety Commission, and other security agencies, have been deployed to the scene and they are searching for workers who are trapped under the rubble.
