Fire guts TCN transmission substation in Kebbi

There was a fire incident at the Transmission Company of Nigeria transmission substation in Birnin-Kebbi, Kebbi State, on Thursday night September 14. According to reports, the 330 kilovolt (kV) facility got engulfed in the inferno at about 11 p.m. The immediate cause of the fire incident is yet to be ascertained. Video recording showed the various installations burning as the fire raged.
