Factory where ‘expired’ rice is repackaged and sold is uncovered in Benue (video)

A factory that repackages and sells “expired” rice has been uncovered in Benue state. The factory is said to take rice that is unfit for consumption, put it in a new sack, and sell it to unsuspecting customers. A video shared online shows bags of “expired” rice loaded onto a truck for distribution. More bags of rice can be seen in the factory as eyewitnesses explain how the factory workers take moldy, dirty rice that’s sticking together and separate it with red oil.  They explained that the factory workers pour the red oil on the rice to make it appear good for consumption.  The rice is then repackaged with a different expiry date and taken to the market. Watch video from the factory below.      View this post on Instagram           A post shared by Lindaikejiblog (@lindaikejiblogofficial)The post Factory where ‘expired’ rice is repackaged and sold is uncovered in Benue (video) appeared first on Linda Ikeji Blog.
