Corps member shares her student’s hilarious classwork

A corps member serving in Enugu State, Onoriona Monicnob, has shared the classwork of one of her students.  According to Onoriona, she asked the JSS1 students to make sentences with “Determiners” (a word, phrase that precedes a noun or noun phrase). One of the students thought determiners are commodities sold in the market and went on to list the ones he/she knew. “So I taught “DETERMINERS” today in JSS1 Class. I gave a series of examples and the students also gave examples with sentences. So I was convinced they understood until I gave classwork. I never knew determiners are commodities sold in the market.
