Ademola Lookman and Mo Salah only African players Nominated For 2024 Globe Soccer Awards

Super Eagles and Atalanta of Italy winger, Ademola Lookman has been nominated for the 2024 Globe Soccer Awards.Lookman and Liverpool superstar, Mohamed Salah are the only Africans in the shortlist while Lionel Messi, Cristiano Ronaldo, Kylian Mbapp, Erling Haaland, Robert Lewandowski, Cole Palmer and Phil Foden are among the other nominees for the award.Lookman, 27, was one of the star performers for Nigeria at the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations in Cote dIvoire.The Atalanta star scored three goals and registered one assist in seven outings for Super Eagles at the competition. He also scored a historic hat-trick for Atalanta in the final of the UEFA Europa League. He also finished 14th in the 2024 Ballon dor ranking and is also in the running for the CAF Mens Player of the Year. The post Ademola Lookman and Mo Salah only African players Nominated For 2024 Globe Soccer Awards appeared first on Linda Ikeji Blog.
