63-year-old man allegedly defiles 2-year-old girl in Benin
The Edo state police command has arrested a 63-year-old man identified as Sunday Igbinokhuaihe for allegedly defiling a two-year-old girl. The suspect who lives at Urhonigbe in Orhionmwon Local Government Area of the state with the girl’s parents, allegedly lured her into his room with a loaf of bread and thereafter used his finger to break her hymen while the girl’s mother was in the kitchen preparing dinner. The act was reportedly uncovered after the little girl screamed when her mother tried bathing her in the evening. After recounting how Igbinokhuaihe allegedly used his finger on her private part, the police was alerted and later arrested the suspect. Edo police spokesperson, Chidi Nwabuzor said Igbinokhuaihe has been transferred to the State Criminal Investigation Department in Benin where he is currently being detained pending the conclusion of an investigation.
