60-year-old guard arraigned in court for stealing churchâs piano and TV
Emmanuel Onakoya, a 60-year-old guard has been arraigned in court for stealing a piano and a plasma television from the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), Peculiar Parish, Ayobo, Lagos, where he works. The suspect who was brought before an Ikeja magistrates’ court on Thursday July 7, was accused of committing the offence on June 19. The prosecutor, Insp Funmi Akinleye said the defendant told the pastor in charge of the church that thieves broke into the premises when he was not around. The pastor reported the incident to the police after he found the claim to be untrue. The Magistrate, Mrs O.O.
